Things to do in Bolton

Large, friendly town with plenty to see and do. Located at the edge of the Pennine Moors and yet just a few miles north of the centre of Manchester. The town grew rapidly during the industrial revolution as a centre of the wool and cotton textile industries. The impressive town centre architecture and parks reflect the rich heritage of this time.

Why be bored in Bolton when there are so many things to do? We've got plenty of great ideas and suggestions for you across the town.

Known for...   Bolton Wanderers, Peter Kay, Industrial Revolution, Amir Khan, Reebok Stadium and Rivington Pike
